Welcome!Petit Glycine is a charming 18th C Farmhouse and Grange with swimming pool, surrounded by terraces, set in a garden, nestled in the Dordogne (Perigord) region of Southwest France, a culinary and cultural destination for food and wine enthusiasts. For a romantic getaway for two our Bed & Breakfast is ideal. Families will appreciate the comfortable accommodations at our self-catered 4 bedroom/4 bathroom holiday home. We look forward to welcoming you to our little corner of paradise soon! The property sits amidst rows of grapevines and fields of sunflowers, 5 minutes from bustling Eymet, a 12th C village with bistros, boulangeries and a weekly Farmers Market! Within a 15 minute drive, you're at the market towns of Issigeac and Duras and as well as Bergerac, the capital of the wine growing region. Surrounded by vineyards, family run wineries abound and invite you to taste their fruit of the vines! The Dordogne is known for truffles, walnut oil, foie gras; Pecharment & Monbazillac wines. Enjoy the local fare – our chef would be delighted to prepare home cooked regional meals for you. Prefer restaurants? We are happy to book meals for you at excellent and beautiful local restaurants. Need help deciding which winery to visit? We are happy to advise and make bookings for you, too. We can arrange visits to a Truffle Farm or Walnut Grove, a hand-made paper mill or caves with prehistoric paintings.
